Sparring
Listening
and questioning
According
to the dictionary (www.hyperdictionary.com)
sparring is "an argument in which the participants are trying
to gain some advantage". In the business world the Sparrer
functions as a ball plank for the one who receives sparring. He
or she questions the receiver out loud and brings forth new points
of view to the matter, whatever it may be. Sparring is a useful
tool in many regards, for example before decision-making and in
planning.
Test your
ideas in a safe environment
Some ideas are good to be vented with an outsider before presenting
them to colleagues or others. Sparring with Mia
Lohman is a safe way to do it. Equipped with a healthy dose
of criticism and idealism, Mia is skilled in looking at matters
from others' point of view and has a good gut feeling for feasible
and non-feasible ideas. Sparring is also part of the Guiding
Star program.
